Hes A Peptospoonful, a popular Cutting Horse stallion owned by David and Stacie McDavid died last week on their Weatherford, Texas ranch. Apparently his death was unexpected. According to Mr. McDavid he was in perfect health and was ready for the upcoming breeding season.
Hes A Peptospoonful, known to cutting horse fans as “Spoonful” was purchased by the McDavids in 2001 after NCHA Futurity in Fort Worth where he won the Semi-Finals that year. Stacie rode him to win the Non-Pro at the Suncoast Cutting in Las Vegas.
He was loved by people and he loved people and has sired several other champions including the NCHA Futurity Champion Spoons Lil Buckaroo.
He was a great Stallion and will be missed.
Happy Trails,
Donnie
